Functional nutrition contributes an important layer to the somatic healing conversation.

 

Nutritional deficiencies, toxicity and inflammation, and substance use change and compromise the biochemistry of both our brain and body.

 

This must, then, compromise how we both feel and function. It would then be impossible for our overall sense of self, our mood, outlook and attitudes not to be  altered or compromised accordingly.

Properly nourishing both brain and body, healing and restoring balance through food, supplements, proper exercise and sleep, allow both the body and the soma (our internal lived experience) opportunity to restore proper functioning, experience greater ease, and enjoy life more.
